Character Missing After Classic Realm Consolidation
Common Problems
- Why is my character on Sulfuras / Mograine?
- I can't find my WotLK Classic characters, the realm is just gone.
- I thought my characters were going to be on a new realm after the TBC consolidation, but I can't find them anywhere
- My character(s) are not on their realm anymore. Rather than that, they're on another realm called Sulfuras or Mograine.
To maintain healthy populations for Wrath of the Lich King Classic realms, we have retired some Classic realms back during Burning Crusade Classic. If you played on one of these realms, your character has been transferred to another one for free on August 9, 2022. See tables below.
Customer Support cannot transfer your character to a different realm of your choice. Before these realms were retired, free transfers were available to the realm of your choice for several weeks. Check this forum post for more information.
New free character transfers may become available in the future. Check our support article for an up-to-date list.
The retirement of realms does not apply to Classic Era. Instead, this game version uses Connected Realms.
