- What will happen to the guild that we currently have on the source realm?
Information
On September 16, 2025, we announced that Mists of Pandaria Classic will be moving to a "mega realm" on both the US and EU regions. The linked forum posts provide more information, and details pertaining to guilds are listed below.
- There is no guild transfer service
- All players who want to transfer to the mega realm will need to be recruited again
- The guild will be able to recruit anyone on either its virtual realm (if it doesn't move) or players from the mega realm, and vice versa
- Guilds will need to be recreated on the mega realm if everyone moves there, with new tabs needing to be repurchased
To help accommodate for this consolidation, the following temporary changes will be put into place following maintenance on 23 September in US and 24 September in EU:
- Achievement requirements for Heirlooms removed
- Achievement requirements for Guild banner purchasing removed
- Achievement requirements for purchasing 8th Bank tab removed
- Reputation requirements for buying a Renown Guild Tabard removed
- Guild reputation buffed by 100%
- Guild Bank Tabs reduced in cost
